Joseph A. Kask ’86 has been appointed managing partner at BlumShapiro in their West Hartford regional accounting advisory firm. Mr. Kask has been with BlumShapiro since 2007. He has served on several strategic committees as well as the executive committee.
Mitchell A. Jackson ’07 has been appointed as the HYPE Chair Elect. He will serve alongside the HYPE Chair in 2016 before assuming the Chair role in 2017. Mr. Jackson is currently an associate project manager at UnitedHealth Group and managing partner of Northeast Payments, LLC.
Diane L. Scaccetti ’81 has received the 2015 CEO of the Year Award by the Orlando Business Journal. Diane is the executive director and CEO at Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise, the Florida Department of Transportation.
Michael J. Gerstenfeld ’96 MBA founder of Ensa.com will be exhibiting the groundbreaking smart wellness app at the Web Summit 2015 in Dublin, Ireland. Ensa is the 1st mobile solution that enables users to connect directly to their electronic health record via their mobile device as well as get real-time personalized wellness recommendations, feedback and alerts on their smartwatch.
Richard B. Gannon ’83 has joined HomeServe USA as their new chief financial officer. Mr. Gannon brings an extensive record of professional accomplishments to HomeServe USA having successfully led operations and finance divisions for major corporations over the course of his career.
Timothy J. Cunningham ’88 MBA has joined Bell Flavors and Fragrance as vice president of manufacturing for Bell’s Middletown New York site. Mr. Cunningham will manage the operations at the Middletown facility.
Justin W. Banulski ’03 has joined the Phoenix Companies as vice president of investment accounting. Mr. Banulski will lead the team that provides oversight and control for financial operations and all accounting and reporting activities for Phoenix’s investment portfolio.
Charles N. York ’99 has been promoted to chief financial officer of Aeglea BioTherapeutics, Inc. Mr. York has 16 years of financial expertise that includes acquisitions and divestitures, private equity transactions, and an initial public offering.
Edward Chiu ’94, ’96 MA has been named Senior Vice President for Advancement at Babson College. Mr. Chui will provide leadership and strategic vision for Babson’s Development, Alumni and Friends and Advancement Communications teams. Mr. Chiu will also serve as a member of the President’s Cabinet.
Hyuon Sook Lim ’15 Ph.D. has successfully defended her dissertation titled “How and when does psychological empowerment affect individual effectiveness: A multilevel investigation.”
