Joseph Morrissey ’91 has been promoted to executive vice president, commercial lending for Union Savings Bank. Prior to his promotion, Morrissey was senior vice president, department head of commercial services.

Kevin McMillan ’09, ’10 MSA has been appointed to the Board of Directors of the Connecticut Convention & Sports Bureau and will serve as board treasurer. McMillan is director of accounting services at Fiondella Milone & LaSaracina LLP in Glastonbury.

George Barrios ’87 (CLAS), ’89 MBA has been appointed to the University of Connecticut Board of Trustees by Governor Ned Lamont. Barrios is the founder and Co-CEO of Isos Capital Management and is a director of Global Sports Group.

Houston Lowry ’80 MBA has been re-elected to the Avon, CT Board of Finance for a four-year term. Lowry is currently a Partner at Ford & Paulekas, LLP.
Diane Gutierrez-Scaccetti ’81
Diane Gutierrez-Scaccetti ’81 has joined HNTB as a national practice consultant and senior vice president. Prior to this role, she was the chief of staff to the Governor of New Jersey. Gutierrez-Scaccetti also received the 2026 Sharon D. Banks Award for Humanitarian Leadership in Transportation from the Transportation Research Board.

Daniel Lin ’09 received the Pasifika Award at the Hawai’i International Film Festival as the director of “Remathau: People of the Ocean”.

David Steuber ’08 (CLAS), ’21 MSBAPM will become the executive director of the Hartford Capital Region Development Authority on October 31, 2025. Steuber is currently chief of staff and director of strategic initiatives for the Department of Economic & Community Development.
