As you may have heard, I recently began to serve as Interim Dean of the UConn School of Business. This is an exciting opportunity to help advance the School and our alumni community. One of the highlights of my time at UConn has been teaching Full-time and Executive MBA students, and I look forward to seeing you soon at one of our alumni events around the region.
I wanted to extend a special invitation to join us at our 26th annual Hall of Fame Celebration later this month. This event honors distinguished and dedicated School of Business alumni and students, while providing an important networking opportunity across programs and cohorts. Every year, our team organizes a great event, and it would be great to see many familiar faces and reconnect.
This year’s celebration will take place on Friday, March 22nd at the Hartford Marriott Downtown. Your presence will enrich the networking experience for everyone in attendance and we hope it will add value to your business endeavors as well. Our distinguished alumni inductees this year are:
George A. Barrios ’87, ’89 MBA
Robert F. Chauvin ’78
Retired President, SimplexGrinnell
Mary A. Laschinger ’92 EMBA
Chairman & Chief Executive Officer
James F. Whalen ’82
