Patrick Donegan is Managing Director and Head of Business Development for GLG’s largest business unit – North American Financial Services (NAFS).

Patrick joined GLG in 2010 and served as Managing Director and Head of GLG’s Private Equity / Venture Capital (PE/VC) Practice in New York City until being promoted to his current role in 2016. Under his leadership, GLG’s PE/VC business experienced consistent, double digit growth and remains the fastest growing business in NAFS.

Prior to joining GLG, he worked at Symmetry Partners, an investment manager with over $5B in assets under management. Before Symmetry, Patrick held various leadership roles at LRN, MasterCard International, and Gartner.

Patrick earned an MBA from the University of Connecticut’s Graduate School of Business and a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Northeastern University.

He resides in Connecticut with his wife and five children.
