Ed Switter ’96 graduated from UConn with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and earned a Master of Science in Taxation from Pace University. Ed is currently employed by Crane Co. in Stamford, Connecticut, a diversified manufacturer of industrial products. Ed joined Crane in 2006 and has held a series of positions there, including Director of Tax; Director, Global Tax; Vice President, Taxes and (currently) Vice President, Treasurer and Tax. Prior to Crane, Ed spent approximately ten years in the Stamford office of Deloitte & Touche. While at Deloitte, Ed focused on corporate tax matters, including compliance, planning, and accounting for income taxes, as well as partnership taxation. His clients included both public and private companies in the consumer products, manufacturing, retail, service, technology and telecommunications industries. Ed is a certified public accountant in Connecticut. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants.
