Daniel Gutch ’16 is a Team and Labor Finance Manager with the National Basketball Association in Secaucus, NJ. At the NBA, Daniel assists in calculating the Salary Cap for each season. Prior to joining the NBA, Daniel spent four and a half years in the Sports Practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP in Florham Park, NJ. Daniel is a Certified Public Accountant in New Jersey.
At UConn, Daniel was a member of the Business Connections Learning Community (BCLC), which afforded him the opportunity to travel to Madrid and Barcelona as part of the BCLC Spain Immersion Trip. Daniel also served as a School of Business Open House Ambassador and as a member of the School of Business Curriculum Revision Task Force. As an undergraduate, Daniel worked as an Operations Assistant at Gampel Pavilion and was the Women’s Volleyball Manager.
An avid sports fan, Daniel’s favorite teams are the UConn men’s and women’s basketball teams, the New York Yankees, and the New York Giants. In his spare time, Daniel enjoys playing golf, coaching youth baseball, and attending sporting events and concerts.
