Susan Martinelli ’01 MSA, a partner at RSM US LLP’s Hartford Office, has been named a 2024 Women in Business Honoree by the Hartford Business Journal for her excellence in leadership. At RSM, Martinelli is also the lead for the National Assurance Inclusion Committee and a member of RSM US Foundation’s Junior Achievement Committee.

Frank Murphy ’07, assistant professor of accounting, has won the American Taxation Association’s (ATA) Outstanding Tax Manuscript Award for his significant contributions to tax literature. Prior to joining the business school faculty in 2017, Murphy worked at Deloitte in Hartford, Connecticut.

Zoe R. Riccio ’08 (CAHNR) and Robert A. Riccio ’10, ’15 MSBAPM of Athletic Brewing Company have been named to Inc. Magazine’s list of the fastest-growing private companies in the Northeast region, which included eight Connecticut businesses. The rankings are based on a company’s revenue growth percentage from 2020 to 2022mmerce Award.

Benna Lehrer ‘02 JD/MBA has been named chairperson of the Board of Directors of Capital for Change, a Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) in Connecticut. Lehrer is currently employed by Synchrony.

Kyle J. Eagleson ’01  has been promoted to president and chief executive officer of Guilford Savings Bank. Eagleson formerly served as the bank’s chief operating officer.

Christopher T. Calio, ’00 JD/MBA, former Pratt & Whitney president, has been named CEO by RTX. RTX has 180,000 employees and $67 billion in annual sales, making it the largest aerospace company in the world.

 

Patrick Day ’06 MSA has been elected as vice president, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) by the Board of Directors of FMC Corporation (NYSE: FMC), a leading global agricultural sciences company.

Pete J. Sena ‘05, co-founder, CEO & chief creative officer of Digital Surgeons LLC, and an Entrepreneur in Residence at UConn, has opened The District in New Haven – a 108,000-square-foot coworking space housing dozens of startup businesses.

 

Stanislaw “Stan” Jankowski ’02 MBA, vice president and chief information officer for the Hospital for Special Care, received the Hartford Business Journal’s 2023 C-suite Award in the Chief Technology/Information Officer, Nonprofit category.

 

Christopher Delello ‘03 MBA was named associate vice president for Human Resources at the University of Buffalo. Most recently, Delello served as chief human resources officer at UConn.
