Andrea Farez '14

Andrea Farez ’14 is a Manager, Senior Scrum Master in the Enterprise Contact Center and Digital Enablement group within the Chief Technology Office Organization. She currently leads 2 Scrum Teams and manages a group of direct reports that are focused on building and deploying Chat/Voice Bots across the enterprise.

Andrea was born and raised in Ecuador. She moved to the United States when she was 11 years old and has lived in CT since then. Andrea is a proud graduate of the University of Connecticut where she obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. During her time at UConn, Andrea was a member of Business Connections Learning Community, Travelers EDGE Scholar, active sister of Mu Sigma Upsilon Sorority, Inc, acted as a Student Support Services and PRLACC M.E.T.A.S mentor, member of ALPFA, GE Student Ambassador and E-Board member of Multicultural Business Society. After choosing to take a different career path, she began her career at The Hartford in 2014 and joined the Operations, Technology and Data Leadership Program. Since then, she has taken roles as Business Analyst, Process Analyst, Project Manager, Business Consultant, Digital Capabilities Solutions Specialist, Agile Coach and Senior Scrum Master that have supported finance, operations, small commercial, digital and technology functions at The Hartford.

Outside work, Andrea enjoys traveling, weightlifting, painting and time with her family and friends.
