Eric Vaheb '13



Eric Vaheb ’13 is a Senior Associate at The Execu|Search Group covering the Financial Services Sector, including roles in operations, marketing, investor relations, investment banking, and real estate. Prior to that he worked for at Fitch Ratings, covering both investment grade and lev fin capital markets in a relationship management/business development function. Eric started his career in JPMorgan’s Financial Analyst Development Program, working his first rotation in the Global Real Estate team which deals with firm-wide purchases and sales of real estate. His second rotation was as a product controller in Investor Services supporting the Futures & Options and Over-the-Counter Clearing sales team. Before leaving JPMorgan, Eric worked as an Associate in the Securitized Product Group, supporting the mortgage-backed securities traders (specifically agency-backed). Eric was enrolled at the University of Connecticut in fall of 2009 as an honors student in the Business School. Throughout his years at UConn, he became involved in many extracurricular activities and was extremely active in Greek Life as a member of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity. During his years, he engaged in mentor style roles such as becoming an INTD facilitator, new member educator for Kappa Sigma, and President of the Iranian Student Association. Eric also held roles such as a USG Senator, IFC Executive Board Member, and Order of Omega initiate. Eric graduated from UConn in 2013 with a Bachelors of Finance and a minor in economics. He gained honors distinction through his thesis entitled “The Financial Crisis of 2008: The Greatest Downturn in the U.S. Economy Since the Great Depression.”
