Partner, Global Head of Real Estate, Co-Chair of Hospitality Group
Joseph Guay ’91 is a partner with the global law firm of Holland & Knight’s in their New York office and serves as the firm’s Real Estate Section leader and co-chair of the Hospitality, Resort and Timeshare Group. His practice is focused in the areas of real estate, business and commercial lending with a strong emphasis in hotel and resort development and hospitality law. In addition to the UConn mentor program, he serves on the boards of 911 Day (a charitable service organization focused on performing service in honor of 9/11) and SARAH, Inc. (an agency in Connecticut with programs to serve people of all ages with differing abilities). Joe currently lives in Madison, CT with his wife Joann and their three sons, Joey, Jackson (UConn Class of 2021) and Josh. He enjoys cooking, collecting antique cars, running, hiking, and traveling.
