Julian Tirsu ’10 is the Director and Global Head of Analyst Relations at Egnyte, a leading cloud content security and collaboration platform. He leverages his extensive experience and knowledge in the data governance, information archiving, and e-discovery markets to build and maintain strategic relationships with industry analysts and influencers worldwide. Tirsu’s team delivers insightful and compelling information about Egnyte’s platform and vision to the analyst community, ensuring that they have a clear and accurate understanding of our value proposition, differentiation, and competitive edge.

Before joining Egnyte in 2022, Julian spent over 10 years at Gartner, where he was a Research Analyst and Executive Advisor for the IT Leaders Infrastructure and Operations team. He provided research and guidance to C-level executives and IT leaders on best practices and strategies around data classification, privacy, security, and governance, covering topics such as data discovery, archiving, compliance, and e-discovery. Tirsu also led the research agendas and vendor evaluations for the respective Magic Quadrants and Market Guides within the enterprise information archiving, e-discovery, and file analysis markets. During his tenure at Gartner, he published multiple influential reports, delivered hundreds of client inquiries and presentations, and received several awards for excellence and impact.
