Director, Global Compliance Strategy
Nick Colon ‘10, MSA ’11 is the Director of Global Compliance Strategy at Etsy where he helps lead the development, oversight, and enforcement of the Global Compliance Program. In his role he is a trusted advisor to senior leaders and business units on all things risk and compliance throughout Etsy’s family of brands which includes Depop, Reverb and Elo7. Prior to joining Etsy, Nick was a manager within the PwC Forensic Services practice where he provided accounting and consulting services to law firms and corporate clients addressing complex regulatory, accounting, and business issues. Nick’s experience includes financial fraud and money laundering investigations; litigation support; international risk assessments; and Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) investigations, due diligence, compliance reviews, program assessments and remediation throughout North America, Latin America, Europe, Asia, and Africa. Nick is a Certified Fraud Examiner, Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist, and Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional. He holds his Bachelors of Science and Masters of Science in Accounting from the University of Connecticut. In his spare time he enjoys traveling, cooking (and eating), photography, UConn basketball, and the Yankees.
