James M. Mahoney ’79 has been elected to be the chairman of the Board of Directors for the Hospital for Special Care in New Britian. Mr. Mahoney will also serve as vice chair for Center of Special Care, Inc., it’s parent corporation.

Carolyne I. Gatesy ’79 MBA has been honored by the Glastonbury Chamber of Commerce as its Businessperson of the Year. Ms. Gatesy is an entrepreneur and has launched and sold several successful tech startups and now operates Main Street Office Center in downtown Glastonbury.

Thomas J. Mango ’79 has joined the Commercial Banking team of Simsbury Bank as a commercial relationship manager. Mr. Mango has over 20 years of experience in commercial banking, both in large and community banks, primarily in Hartford and Litchfield Counties. Prior to joining Simsbury Bank he was commercial lender and portfolio manager at New England Bank.
