Kim A. Keck ’93 MBA has been appointed as the president and chief executive officer of Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Rhode Island.  Ms. Keck will be Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Rhode Island’s first female president and CEO and the company’s seventh overall in its 77-year history.  She joins the company from her previous position as senior vice president at Aetna.

Carol Cox ’00 has been named vice president of strategy and corporate communication at NuVasive, Inc.  Ms. Cox is an executive with extensive global healthcare experience in corporate strategy, investor relations, corporate communications, media relations, brand strategy and government relations.



Sarah B. Jeffrey ’14 MBA

Sarah B. Jeffrey ’14 MBA has received the prestigious Early Career Healthcare Executive Regent’s Award by the Connecticut Association of Healthcare Executives.  The award recognizes Ms. Jeffrey’s contributions toward the achievement of the goals of the American College of Healthcare Executives and the advancement of healthcare management excellence.  Ms. Jeffrey is currently an administrative fellow at Bristol Hospital.


Robert T. Peterson ’95 MBA

Robert T. Peterson ’95 MBA has been named chief executive officer at Millinocket Regional Hospital in Maine.  Mr. Peterson is a seasoned healthcare executive with more than 25 years of experience.   He previously served as patient care administrator for surgery and women and children’s services at Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor, Maine.


Gregory J. Trudel ’83

Gregory J. Trudel ’83 has been appointed to president and CEO of Encision Inc., a medical device company owning patented surgical technology that prevents stray electrosurgical burns in minimally invasive surgery.  Mr. Trudel brings a legacy of success in the surgical devices market.  Most recently he was most recently the global director of marketing within a division within the Surgical Solutions Group at Covidien.



Christopher A. Bleck ’80,’88 MBA

Christopher A. Bleck ’80,’88 MBA has been appointed to the Product Advisory Board of Alcresta, a science based company who is creating enzyme-based products to help those who are battling diseases or chronic conditions. Mr. Bleck has had over 25 years of senior management experience in health industries.
