Lori Groth is a divisional CIO at Stanley Black & Decker who drives global technology solutions to the Corporate functions including Finance, HR, Procurement, Communications and Shared Services. Lori believes that having strong, trusted relationships and solid understanding of her customers’ needs are the keys to creating successful digital strategies and project execution. Lori has brought many new technologies to Stanley Black & Decker including digitizing Global Finance Processes, Financial Planning & Analysis, Global Talent Management, Time and Expense Management, and Employee Collaboration. In addition to IT, Lori has had roles in finance, compliance, and project management. Prior to joining Stanley she worked in IT in the Insurance industry and IT risk at a public accounting firm. A Connecticut resident for her adult life, Lori holds dual B.S. degrees from Quinnipiac University for Computer Science and Accounting and an M.S. in Information Systems from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Lori lives in Southington, CT with her husband and two children.
