Edward F. Lange Jr. ’86 MBA has been appointed to the position of Chief Executive Officer at Maxx Properties. Mr. Lange has more than 30 years of management, real estate and financial expertise. He previously served as an independent direction with American Assets Trusts, Inc. and STAG Industrial, Inc.



Dr. Ajay S. Vinze ’82 MBA

Dr. Ajay S. Vinzé ’82 MBA has been appointed as the new dean of the Robert J. Trulaske, Sr. College of Business at the University of Missouri. Dr. Vinzé previously served as the Earl and Gladys Davis Distinguished Professor in the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University . He has also served as associate dean of international programs in the W.P. Carey School of Business as well as the associate vice provost for graduate education. Dr. Vinzé graduated with a master’s of business administration from UConn, and went on to earn his doctorate in business administration from the University of Arizona.

John Y. Kim ’87 MBA, ’16 HON has generously donated $1 million to help local students from Hartford attend UConn School of Business, where he received his MBA in 1987. Mr. Kim is president of New York Life Insurance Co., and former chair of the UConn Foundation Board of Directors.

Kelleher ’87, ’91 MBA has been named the director of Early Childhood Collaborative of Southington.  Ms. Kelleher has extensive background in business operations and administration, project management, marketing, grant writing and community engagement.  She was most recently the vice president of operations at SecureRF Corporation and is also very active in the Southington community.


Frederic A. Jung ’86 MBA

Frederic A. Jung ’86 MBA has been appointed as executive vice president and chief financial officer at Northwest Hardwoods Inc.  Mr. Jung has nearly 30 years of experience in the industry and was most recently the chief financial officer at Arizona Chemical.
