Mario Leite ’98 is the cofounder of Tea*Riffic Ice Cream, an artisanal ice cream company crafting super-premium ice cream infused with fresh brewed loose leaf and herbal teas. His company is proud to announce that Tea*Riffic Ice Cream has just won the 2018 Bronze Sofi Award for their Masala Chai ice cream. The Sofi Awards is the most prestigious food products competition in the specialty food industry, with more than 2,600 domestic and international entries this year across 39 categories.
Gregory J. Dickinson ’91 has been named South Carolina Market President at Aqueta Bank. He is based in the newly opened Charleston Office. Previously, he was commercial banking market manager at Capital Bank. He is a deacon at Mount Pleasant Presbyterian Church, Etiwan District Chairman for Coastal Council BSA and a volunteer lacrosse coach in the Town of Mount Pleasant and City of Charleston Recreation departments.
Jacinth C. Smiley ’91 has been named Chief Accounting Officer at LyondellBasell, one of the largest plastics, chemicals and refining companies in the world. Ms. Smiley joins LyondellBasell from General Electric Oil & Gas, where she served as Chief Financial Officer for the North America Region.
Anthony L. Mattacchione ’98 MBA has been appointed Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of AMRI, a global pharmaceutical contract research, development and manufacturing organization that partners with the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries to improve patient outcomes and quality of life. Mr. Mattacchione has more than 30 years of experience in financial leadership positions with high growth companies across the life sciences tools, biopharmaceutical, chemicals and technology sectors. Before joining AMRI, Mr. Mattacchione spent five years at Bruker Corporation where he most recently served as their chief financial officer.
John P. Budaj ’90 is the Vice President of Information Technology at Fallon Health in Worcester. Mr. Budaj joined Fallon Health, a nationally recognized, not-for-profit health care services organization, in 2012 as the Senior Director of Medical Economics, Data Management and Reporting. Kirk H. Lusk ’93 MBA has been appointed Chief Financial Officer of Heritage Insurance Holdings, Inc. Mr. Lusk had served as Chief Financial Officer for NBIC since January 2013. He has over 20 years of finance and insurance experience working as an Underwriter, Controller and Chief Financial Officer.
David J. Whitehouse ’95 EMBA has been appointed Chief Medical Officer of Senscio Systems, Inc., which developed the nation’s leading home-based digital health solution, Ibis™. Prior to joining Senscio, Dr. Whitehouse served as Chief Medical Officer at UST-Global, where he spearheaded their digital health transformation initiative. He has served on the clinical faculty at Dartmouth, Harvard, and Yale. He currently serves on the Board of Brain Net, in addition to the Healthcare Management Advisory Board at UConn.

Joseph A. Reppert ’94 MBA has been promoted to Chief Financial Officer of Adventist Health, a non-profit health system serving more than 75 communities on the West Coast and Hawaii. Mr. Reppert spent the majority of his career as a CFO with several different health organizations, including CFO for North Mississippi Health Services, where he helped lead a team to win the prestigious Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award twice.
Mary Kay Fenton ’91 MBA is the executive vice president and chief financial officer of Achillion Pharmaceuticals in New Haven and has been elected chair of the board of directors of the Connecticut Business & Industry Association. Leading Achillion’s financial and administrative departments since the company’s inception, Ms. Fenton is responsible for financial strategy and capital formation, financial reporting and compliance, and treasury and tax functions, as well as operating functions such as investor relations, risk management, facilities management, purchasing, and information technology.
Jeffrey Deldin ’92 has joined World Insurance Associates LLC, an independent insurance agency headquartered in Tinton Falls, NJ, as a Partner of the firm. Mr. Deldin began his career with Continental Insurance, followed by 3 years with Dunlap Corporation as a Surety Bond Agent and Broker. In 1998, Jeff joined Bruen Deldin DiDio Associates, Inc. He sits on various agency council boards and has served 12 years with the Board of Directors of the Associated Builders and Contractors – CT Chapter.
