Joseph Olin ‘08 has joined Chicago-based Dayton Street Partners as director, acquisitions. Olin was most recently vice president of acquisitions at Banyan Street Capital in Miami.

Linda De Jesus ’01 EMBA has been appointed global vice president and general manager of Integrated DNA Technologies. De Jesus previously served as senior vice president and chief commercial officer at Azenta Life Sciences.

Dennis Nash ’04 MBA has been selected Business Person of the Year by the U.S. Small Business Administration. Nash is president and CEO of Control Station, a company recognized as a leader in process analytics and optimization.

Tom Orkisz ’09, chairman and CEO of Inline Plastics, has been named among New Haven Business Journal’s Power 25 – Class of 2023. Inline Plastics specializes in creating clear, recyclable plastic food containers and Orkisz is being recognized for his recent efforts involving the innovation and expansion of the company. He has worked at Inline for more than 32 years.

Christopher Calio ’00 MBA, ’00 JD has been elected president of Raytheon Technologies Corporation. Calio most recently served as Raytheon’s COO. Prior to Raytheon, Calio served as president of Pratt & Whitney.

Colin Rosenberg ’09 has been recently elected by CohnReznick as partner, effective February 1, 2023. Rosenberg is one of nineteen professionals who have been selected due to their strong commitment to the company.

Jay Goldberg ’01, along with his father, Richard Goldberg, received the Historic Salem 2022 Preservation Award for the restoration and development of The Breakaway, Captain Nathanial Silsbee’s mansion (circa 1819), on Salem Common in Massachusetts.

Rimvydas Baltaduonis 02 MS, ’07 Ph.D., associate professor in the Economics Department at Gettysburg College, traveled with agroup of students to the Lithuanian Embassy to meet with diplomats as part of a week focused on issues in Eastern Europe and Ukraine.

 Monica A Caldas Benton ’01, currently deputy chief information officer at Liberty Mutual, has been named executive vice president and chief information officer of Liberty Mutual effective January 2023. Prior to joining Liberty Mutual, Caldas Benton spent 17 years at GE before leaving to become executive vice president and global CIO for GRM.

Michael Colonnese ’09 has joined H.C. Wainwright & Co., LLC’s Equity Research Department as a senior equity analyst focusing on Cryptocurrency & Fintech. Colonnese joins HCW with over 13 years of experience in the financial services industry.
