Thomas C. Klamka ’81

Thomas C. Klamka ’81 has joined Guggenheim Securities as a Senior Managing Director and Head of Credit Strategy. He will be focusing on portfolio advisory capabilities in high-yield, leveraged loans, and distressed credit markets. Mr. Klamka was the Co-Head of Research at Lutetium Capital, and prior to that was a Managing Director of Corporate Credit Research at Credit Suisse, managing the high yield and investment grade research groups.

Edward F. Lange Jr. ’86 MBA

Edward F. Lange Jr. ’86 MBA has been appointed to the position of Chief Executive Officer at Maxx Properties. Mr. Lange has more than 30 years of management, real estate and financial expertise. He previously served as an independent direction with American Assets Trusts, Inc. and STAG Industrial, Inc.



Colin A. Mansfield ’09

Colin A. Mansfield ’09 was featured in an article from the CT Post regarding gaming in Connecticut, more specifically the prospects for a third casino in Hartford. Mr. Mansfield provided valuable insight into the pros and cons of the proposal from a financial standpoint. The article mentions that Mohegan Sun and Foxwoods have warned that the opening of the MGM Casino in Springfield, MA could bring significant losses in revenue and jobs. To read more, click here. Dr. Ajay S. Vinze ’82 MBA

Dr. Ajay S. Vinzé ’82 MBA has been appointed as the new dean of the Robert J. Trulaske, Sr. College of Business at the University of Missouri. Dr. Vinzé previously served as the Earl and Gladys Davis Distinguished Professor in the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University . He has also served as associate dean of international programs in the W.P. Carey School of Business as well as the associate vice provost for graduate education. Dr. Vinzé graduated with a master’s of business administration from UConn, and went on to earn his doctorate in business administration from the University of Arizona.
