Jay GoldbergJay Goldberg01, along with his father, Richard Goldberg, received the Historic Salem 2022 Preservation Award for the restoration and development of The Breakaway, Captain Nathanial Silsbee’s mansion (circa 1819), on Salem Common in Massachusetts.

Monica Caldas Monica A Caldas Benton ’01, currently deputy chief information officer at Liberty Mutual, has been named executive vice president and chief information officer of Liberty Mutual effective January 2023. Prior to joining Liberty Mutual, Caldas Benton spent 17 years at GE before leaving to become executive vice president and global CIO for GRM.

Vikram NafdeVikram Nafde ’05 MBA has been named executive vice president and chief information officer in charge of Information Technology for Webster Financial Corporation, the holding company for Webster Bank, N.A. As a member of Webster Bank’s Executive Management Committee (EMC), Nafde is responsible for the strategy and execution of all Webster technology, including cybersecurity, data strategy and tech innovation.

beBrett Eagleson ’08 has joined The Washington Trust Company in the bank’s commercial real estate group, as vice president and relationship manager in Connecticut. A lifelong Connecticut resident, Eagleson has 14 years of experience in the commercial real estate lending industry, with specific expertise in industrial, multi-family, retail, office, special use, and construction-to-permanent asset classes. Most recently, Eagleson served as vice president and commercial loan officer at Guilford Savings Bank. 



Keith E. Amann ‘05

Amann ‘05, vice president on the Built Ecology team at WSP USA, has been recognized as a 2021 LEED Fellow by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) and Green Business Certification Inc. (GBCI). Amann was among 21 individuals from around the world honored for mastery of Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED). It is the world’s most widely used green building rating system, identifying exceptional work in advancing green building practices.


Keith J. Bernier ‘08

keithKeith J. Bernier ‘08 was named to the Hartford Business Journal’s 2021 Class of 40 Under Forty.  Bernier is a district executive for Webster Bank’s Midwest Connecticut district. He has led one of Webster’s top performing banking center teams for more than four years.
