Laurie S. Haas ‘94

Laurie S. Haas ‘94 has been named one of the Top 100 Women Leaders in Connecticut for 2022 by Women We Admire. Ms. Haas is an attorney with the Murthy Law Firm.  She represents companies and individuals before the US Citizenship and Immigration Services, the Department of State, and other government agencies.



Keith E. Amann ‘05

kamannKeith E. Amann ‘05, vice president on the Built Ecology team at WSP USA, has been recognized as a 2021 LEED Fellow by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) and Green Business Certification Inc. (GBCI). Amann was among 21 individuals from around the world honored for mastery of Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED). It is the world’s most widely used green building rating system, identifying exceptional work in advancing green building practices.


Rich Goodwin ‘83 MBA

Rich Goodwin ‘83 MBA recently published his second book, BASEBALL LIFE MATTERS. The author takes a look at the game of baseball and the life lessons baseball provides. The book is a tribute to the Rochester, NY area 1967 New York State American Legion Championship Team and players.



Lisa G. Bisaccia ‘85 MBA

lbLisa G. Bisaccia ‘85 MBA was appointed to Chesapeake Utilities Corporation Board of Directors.  She is a retired executive vice president and chief human resources officer of CVS Health.  During her tenure at CVS Health, Bisaccia focused on employee engagement and organizational culture and oversaw CVS Health’s corporate social responsibility and philanthropy.


Keitha Kinne ‘80

kkinneKeitha Kinne ‘80 was recently recognized with the Impact Award by the Women’s Business Development Council, alongside two other recipients. She was joined by 3 other Huskies who were also honored this year:  Tara Spain ‘08 (CLAS), Michael Weinstock ‘83 (CLAS), and Karen Lott ‘17 (ED).


Shari Cantor ‘81


scantorShari Cantor ‘81, Mayor of West Hartford, along with her husband, Michael Cantor, have helped fund the new UConn entrepreneurship program, which will include working to solve actual problems faced by startup companies in Greater Hartford. UConn will debut its Build Hartford course through the university’s Werth Institute for Entrepreneurship and Innovation next spring, the university said.



Keith J. Bernier ‘08

keithKeith J. Bernier ‘08 was named to the Hartford Business Journal’s 2021 Class of 40 Under Forty.  Bernier is a district executive for Webster Bank’s Midwest Connecticut district. He has led one of Webster’s top performing banking center teams for more than four years.
