Rhonda Germany Ballintyn ’88 MBA has been appointed to the Board of Directors for Integra LifeSciences Holdings Corporation, a leading global medical technology company.  Ms. Germany Ballintyn will also serve on the board’s compensation committee.  She recently retired from Honeywell International Inc. where she was the Corporate Vice President, Chief Strategy and Marketing Officer.


Russell Dancho ’86 MBA

Russell Dancho ’86 MBA has been appointed Managing Director of Strategic Sourcing by LogicSource, a leading sourcing and procurement services firm in Norwalk, Connecticut. Before joining LogicSource, Mr. Dancho spent over 30 years in senior-level packaging and product development roles with major consumer brands such as Revlon, CONAIR and The LEGO Group. He began his career in Engineering and Supply Chain Management, working with companies such as The Nestle Company and PepsiCo.


Michael J. Anthony ’85

Michael J. Anthony ’85 was named to head Santander Bank’s newly formed Direct Private Investment Practice.  Mr. Anthony, who brings over 20 years of experience in alternative investments and family office consulting to Santander Bank, is based in Boston.  Prior to joining Santander, he served as the director and global head of the family office practice group at Citizens Bank.  He also is a founding member and managing director at Boston Family Office Consultants, a firm started by industry professionals that connects single family offices with alternative investment opportunities.


John W. Mahoney ’89 JD

John W. MahoneyJohn W. Mahoney ’89 JD has been named Senior Vice President and Chief Claim Officer at IFG Companies in Hartford.  Mr. Mahoney will be responsible for managing IFG’s nationwide claims organization while serving as a member of the Company’s overall Senior Leadership Team.  Mr. Mahoney comes to IFG with over 20 years of demonstrated success in a variety of claim leadership roles.  He began his career practicing law in the litigation practice of Hebb & Gitlin and Shipman & Goodwin.  Most recently, he spent the last ten years in a variety of claim leadership positions at Zurich North America.


Daniel S. Frey ’86

Daniel S. Frey ’86 has been appointed as the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of The Travelers Companies, Inc.  Mr. Frey brings to his new role more than three decades of finance and accounting experience.  Prior to his current role, he served as Chief Financial Officer of the company’s Claim and Field Management organizations.  Prior to joining Travelers, he served as Chief Financial Officer of Spalding Sports Worldwide.

Robert J. Gronda ’89 has been appointed Vice President responsible for business development and client management activities in the Client Services Group of ASB Real Estate Investments.  Mr. Gronda is a highly experienced institutional investment management professional with strong client service experience developed over a dynamic career in the commercial real estate financial services industry.


Kevin Trapp ’88

Kevin Trapp ’88 has been named Chief Commercial Officer of DBV Technologies, a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company.  . As part of the Company’s ongoing transformation into a commercial organization, he joins DBV after 27 years of driving portfolio growth through building leading brands at Bristol-Myers Squibb.  Mr. Briggs will be responsible for all worldwide commercial functions at DBV, including the potential launch of the Company’s lead product candidate, Viaskin Peanut, in 2019.




Robert E. Valliere ’85

Robert E. Valliere ’85 has been named the new Executive Vice President of Insurance Operations for CSAA.  Mr. Valliere will oversee business aspects and functions such as claims, policyholder service, product management, underwriting, agency support and actuarial.  He has over 30 years of experience in the insurance industry, the last 14 of which he spent in key leadership positions with AAA and CSAA Insurance Group.  Mr. Valliere currently serves on the J.D. Power Insurance Advisory Board.
