Undergraduate Mentor Program

The UConn School of Business Undergraduate Mentor Program was created to pair select sophomore and junior business students with mentors in either Hartford, Stamford, Boston or New York City through a one-credit course offered each fall semester.   Alumni mentors in business are essential resources for our students, and their advice and counsel is invaluable.

The mentor program requires each student mentee to connect with their alumni mentor at least three times during the fall semester course, one of which will be an in person dinner with the mentor arranged and paid for by the School as a field trip to each of the four cities in the program.  Alumni mentors in turn will be asked to provide feedback to the students on their engagements with them and specifically on their performance in an online recorded mock interview.  At the conclusion of the course, alumni mentors will provide feedback to the instructors that will impact the students’ final grade.

Please consider investing some time as an alumni mentor!  Our students will benefit tremendously from your insight and support.  Thank you.
