With the opening of their Innovation Learning Center in Waterbury in September, the company will continue to drive growth and manufacturing innovation within the state.

SCP is an interim management and advisory firm to middle-market companies in transition. Before joining SCP, Mr. Farrace was a Managing Director and Group Head in CIT Group’s Commercial Finance unit and was Head of Corporate Banking at OneWest Bank.

Christopher R. MacPherson ’98, a principal of The MacPherson Gilchrest Group, has joined the Glastonbury, CT office of Janney Montgomery Scott LLC, a leading full-service wealth management, financial services, and investment banking firm headquartered in Philadelphia, PA. The MacPherson Gilchrest Group was previously affiliated with Merrill Lynch.

Smith ’90 joined Crown World Mobility as group vice president.  Crown World Mobility is the world’s largest privately-held group of logistics and related services companies.  Mr. Smith brings a wealth of industry experience with over 20 years of experience and most recently served as vice president, client services at Cartus.

David L. Murphy ’96 MBA has been appointed to head of Wealth Advisory at Boston Private, a leading provider of fully integrated wealth management, trust, and private banking services.  Mr. Murphy most recently served as the New England and Metro New York regional Investment Director at TD Bank.
