David M. Laros ’89 joined Beghou Consulting as vice president of digital strategy, analytics, and insights. a life science consulting firm. Before joining Beghou Consulting, Laros was vice president of marketing sciences at WebMD, where he led global analytics-based client services and teams throughout the US, France, and India. He also spent 15 years at Boehringer Ingelheim, as well as ten years at Tyco Healthcare.

Kathleen Totten ’18 was named senior vice president and regional strategic growth and sales manager at William Raveis Real Estate, Mortgage & Insurance for offices in Greater Connecticut and Western Massachusetts. Totten is responsible for business growth through strategic relationship-building in the industry and throughout WRRE’s eight-state footprint, which includes agent recruitment, coaching, and mentoring to build their individual businesses and develop marketing initiatives.
Tom Rizzi ’92
Tom Rizzi ’92 assumed the role of president and CEO for OTR International in the greater Atlanta, Georgia area. Rizzi joined OTR after serving for five years for JSJ Corporation as EVP and COO. He also served as CEO for GHSP, JSJ’s largest portfolio company.

Semin Park ’19 PhD won the Academy of Management (AOM) Dissertation Award for the Organizational Behavior (OB) division. The AOM is the preeminent professional association for management and organization scholars.
Nicole Hughey ’93, ’99 MBA
Nicole Hughey ’93, ’99 MBA, vice president of diversity and inclusion at SiriusXM, was recognized by the National Diversity Council as one of Top 50 Leaders in Entertainment. Hughey engaged all employees across SiriusXM in a deep and thought-provoking exercise called “Can We Talk?”, an initiative focused on fostering a more inclusive workplace.

Sophia N. Ononye-Onyia ‘13 Ph.D., ‘15 MBA has been appointed to the board of directors of Daré Bioscience, Inc., a leader in women’s health innovation. Ononye-Onyia is the founder and CEO of The Sophia Consulting Firm, which provides strategic marketing and communications consulting services to pharmaceutical, biotech and health tech companies.

Stephen M. Mulready ‘73, interim dean of the Barney School of Business at the University of Hartford since August 2020, has been named as the school’s new permanent dean.

Matthew P. Remo ‘11 has been promoted to senior vice president, director of strategy and development at Peapack-Gladstone Bank. Remo joined the bank after a 10-year career with the Federal Reserve Bank of New York (FRBNY).

Dennis J. Nesta ‘15 MBA has been appointed Chief Financial Officer of Excelsior Medical, a primary-care focused healthcare company serving approximately 80,000 patients throughout New York City. Nesta joins Excelsior after serving as CFO of Aetna’s Clinical Services organization.
