Tara M. Pickett ’06

Tara Maroney PickettTara Maroney Pickett ’06 joined the New York State School Boards Association (NYSSBA) as a project and web content manager. NYSSBA provides advocacy, training and information to school boards in support of their mission to govern the state’s public schools. In this role, she oversees their website and will manage projects throughout the organization. Previously, she worked in academic advising and communications at Hudson Valley Community College and the University of Bridgeport.



Christopher T. Calio ’00 MBA, JD

Christopher T. Calio ’00 MBA, JD will assume the presidency of Pratt & Whitney, effective upon the retirement of Bob Leduc in early 2020. Prior to assuming leadership of Pratt & Whitney, Mr. Calio served as president of its commercial engines business. In his new role, he will be responsible for development, program management, sales, customer support and aftermarket services of the company’s portfolio of large commercial engines, including the P&W GTF engine family.


Edwin J. Tucker, MD ’08 MBA

Edwin J. Tucker, MD ’08 MBA has been named Chief Medical Officer of Mirum Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a biopharmaceutical company focused on novel therapies for debilitating liver diseases.  Dr. Tucker has over 20 years of academic, biotechnology and pharmaceutical commercialization.



Kevin E. Burke ’95 MBA

Kevin E. Burke ’95 MBA has been named by Southern Connecticut State University School of Business to its Business Advisory Council.  Mr. Burke is a senior vice president and market executive for Wells Fargo commercial banking in the Connecticut and New York Capital Region.

 




Maryann N. Haverstock ’04 MBA

MaryAnn N. Haverstock ’04 MBA has joined The Gunnery faculty as Director of the IDEAS Lab. Ms. Haverstock brings to the school’s robust STEM curriculum – which is offered in a hands-on lab environment – more than two decades of engineering experience. In her new role she is responsible for both teaching courses and managing the Innovation, Design, Engineering, and Applied Scholarship Lab.
