Mary Kay Fenton ’91 MBA

Mary Kay Fenton ’91 MBA is the executive vice president and chief financial officer of Achillion Pharmaceuticals in New Haven and has been elected chair of the board of directors of the Connecticut Business & Industry Association.  Leading Achillion’s financial and administrative departments since the company’s inception, Ms. Fenton is responsible for financial strategy and capital formation, financial reporting and compliance, and treasury and tax functions, as well as operating functions such as investor relations, risk management, facilities management, purchasing, and information technology.


Thomas L. Rogers ’06

Thomas L. Rogers ’06 joined the Charlotte Market of The Siegfried Group, LLP as a Manager. Siegfried works alongside financial executives across the nation on their most important accounting and finance projects. Previously, Mr. Rogers was at Wells Fargo to assemble a “Center of Excellence” team charged with the review of financial products at origination.


Jeffrey Deldin ’92

Frances Trelease '83, '96 MBAJeffrey Deldin ’92 has joined World Insurance Associates LLC, an independent insurance agency headquartered in Tinton Falls, NJ, as a Partner of the firm. Mr. Deldin began his career with Continental Insurance, followed by 3 years with Dunlap Corporation as a Surety Bond Agent and Broker. In 1998, Jeff joined Bruen Deldin DiDio Associates, Inc. He sits on various agency council boards and has served 12 years with the Board of Directors of the Associated Builders and Contractors – CT Chapter.


Richard J. Tavolieri, Jr. ’89

Richard J. Tavolieri, Jr. ’89 became the managing partner of the Hartford office of Deloitte & Touche LLP in September 2017. He retains his role as Deloitte’s lead audit partner for marquee Connecticut companies. Mr. Tavolieri, who grew up in Vernon, CT and whose father was a career accountant at the former Hamilton Standard/Hamilton Sundstrand, hopes as managing partner he can leave his mark on Deloitte and, like his predecessors, make improvements.



Jasmine Alcantara ’95, ’99 MBA

Jasmine Alcantara ’95, ’99 MBA has been named a finalist for the 2018 Enterprising Women of the Year Award.  The Enterprising Women of the Year Award is widely considered one of the most prestigious recognition programs for women business owners.  The winning nominees must demonstrate that they have fast-growth businesses, mentor or actively support other women and girls involved in entrepreneurship, and stand out as leaders in their communities.  Ms. Alcantara is the Owner/Consultant at JLA Group.


Marc Levine ’88 MBA

Marc Levine '88 MBAMarc Levine ’88 MBA is joining athenahealth, Inc. as an Executive Vice President and will become the company’s Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer, effective January 2, 2018.  Previously, Mr. Levine served as the executive vice president and CFO of JDA Software Group, Inc. and prior to JDA held several senior financial leadership roles at Hewlett Packard Company.



George Nahodil ’88 MBA

George Nahodil '88 MBAGeorge Nahodil ’88 MBA has been named President and CEO of 1st Federal Credit Union.  Mr. Nahodil was previously executive vice president in charge of retail delivery, public relations and marketing, since joining the credit union in 2001.  John Devlin, Members 1st chairman of the board, said in a news release “George has all the skills necessary – strategic vision, management, and a command of the changing environment of the financial services industry.”
