Kristen Capuano ’02 has received a Top Women in Asset Management Award.  Ms. Capuano, Managing Director and Head of Marketing and Product Strategy at VanEck, has been a part of growing the firm from a few billion to over $45 billion in total assets.  She oversees all marketing communications, including digital marketing, active and ETF product management, and institutional marketing.

Kevin J. Pleiter ’08 EMBA has joined Grant Thornton LLP as a principal in the company’s Financial Services Advisory practice.  Mr. Pleiter has more than 25 years of financial services experience and spent much of his career advising global financial services firms across investment banking, asset management, wealth management, and custody businesses in the US, Europe, and Asia Pacific.

Jimmy Q. Tang ’11 has been listed on the Forbes 30 Under 30 list for Games.  Mr. Tang is currently the Senior Manager of Strategy and Finance at Twitch, a live streaming video platform.  His focus is on making Twitch a more sustainable platform for its content creators, including his help in launching the Cheering product and developing the business case for the Twitch Affiliate Program, both of which greatly help people earn a living.

Bryan E. Rosenblatt ’11 has been listed on the Forbes 30 Under 30 list for Marketing and Advertising.  Mr. Rosenblatt is currently the Director of Brand Partnerships for Reddit, a social news aggregation, web content rating, and discussion website.  He was most recently part of the brand partnerships team at Twitter.  Mr. Rosenblatt has also been recognized by the Ad Council for championing nonprofit advertising that builds awareness around suicide prevention and has invested in startups led by underrepresented and minority founders.

Daniel T. Goose ’16 has been named Manager of Player Development & Basketball Operations for the Greensboro Swarm, the NBA G League Affiliate of the Charlotte Hornets.  While at UConn, Mr. Goose was a four-year manager (2012-16) for the men’s basketball program, including a prominent role on the 2014 NCAA Championship team.
