| Amy Moynihan ’12 is a human resources professional and Associate Director, Talent Acquisition for Vir Bio, an immunology company focused on infectious diseases based in San Francisco, CA. Amy graduated from the University of Connecticut in 2012 with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. While at UConn, Amy was a Vice President and member of Delta Zeta sorority.
After graduation, Amy worked at PwC in Boston, MA as an Assurance Associate in the Technology practice through the end of 2013. Recognizing she could utilize her skills in a different capacity, Amy looked to change career paths into the Human Resources field. Amy found herself working in the biotech/pharma industry at companies such as Biogen, Sanofi Genzyme, Asuragen, and Sierra Oncology, holding Talent Acquisition and HR Business Partner positions. Amy now leads a Talent Acquisition team and is responsible for the recruitment strategy at Vir. In Amy’s free time, she enjoys travelling (most recently for the UConn Men’s basketball Sweet 16 & Final Four games!), cooking, running, and trying out new restaurants. |
