Talent Acquisition Manager
Amy Moynihan ’12 is a human resources professional and Talent Acquisition Manager for Asuragen, a molecular diagnostics company based in Austin, TX. Amy graduated from the University of Connecticut in 2012 with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. While at UConn, Amy was a Vice President and member of Delta Zeta sorority and Order of Omega, an honors fraternity recognizing strong academic and leadership achievements in the community.
After graduation, Amy worked at PwC in Boston, MA as an Assurance Associate in the Technology practice through the end of 2013. Recognizing she could utilize both her accounting and advanced interpersonal skills in a different capacity, Amy looked to change career paths into the Human Resources field. Amy found herself working as a Recruiting Associate at Biogen, a biopharmaceutical company based in Cambridge, MA. After a couple of years, Biogen spun-off their hemophilia business in February 2017, which later would be called Bioverativ, where Amy worked as an HR Generalist and Recruiting Partner, recruiting top talent in order to transform the lives of people with hemophilia and rare blood disorders.
Amy is now the sole Talent Acquisition professional at Asuragen where she manages the entire recruitment life cycle for all departments in the organization, and oversees numerous HR systems and processes. In Amy’s free time, she enjoys travelling, cooking, running and trying out new restaurants.
