Craig Owens ’16 MSA retired as CFO and Chief Administrative Officer of Campbell Soup after a 30-year career in the international food and beverage industry. At Campbell, Craig had direct responsibility for finance, supply chain, and IT. He also chaired the company’s Operating Committee. Prior to Campbell, Craig was CFO of Belgian international grocery retailer Delhaize Group, the owner of U.S. chains Food Lion and Hannaford. Previously, he held senior positions with Coca-Cola in the US and Europe, including president of the French operations, division head of Italy, Austria and Switzerland, and CFO of public company franchisees covering 23 countries.

 

Craig is active as a senior advisor and corporate board member. He has experience on 7 public company boards in three countries and has chaired JV’s in China and Indonesia. Craig serves currently on the boards of Crown Holdings, Aptar Group and US Cold Storage. He is a trustee of his undergraduate alma mater and is Treasurer of Christ Church Preservation Trust (Philadelphia).

 

Craig holds a BA from Washington and Lee University, an MBA from The Wharton School (University of Pennsylvania) and an MA from The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy (Tufts). After retirement, with more time, less staff and lots of audit committee work, he extended his accounting skills with an online MS in Accounting from the University of Connecticut.
