Kim Tomlinson ’08 is a Senior Manager of Customer & Market Insights at Biogen, located in Weston, MA. At Biogen, Kim is responsible for understanding the motivations and dynamics driving decisions within the Multiple Sclerosis space, with a particular focus on Tysabri, Avonex, and Plegridy. Her previous role was as a Director at Ipsos Healthcare, a leading global market research consulting agency. While at UConn, Kim served as President of the MBA Marketing Association and was a contributing member of the Strategic Marketing Committee and the UConn chapter of the National Association of Women MBAs. Kim also participated in EdgeLab, a UConn-GE collaboration, where she helped create a “go to” market strategy and multi-generational product plan for a new lighting technology. Kim received her BS in Business Administration from the University of Rhode Island; while there, she worked part-time for four years in Intervention at the Cancer Prevention Research Center.
