Leon Peschel ‘16 received his Bachelor of Science in Finance from the School of Business. At UConn Leon was captain of the Men’s Crew Team, competed on the Moot Court Team, and was a member of the Special Program in Law. He studied abroad at the National University of Singapore in the Spring of 2014. He has interned with General Electric in their early identification financial management program and at the Connecticut Attorney General’s Office in the Employment Rights division. After UConn, Leon started his J.D. at Harvard Law School. During his time at HLS, he worked in the Harvard Negotiation and Mediation Clinical Program, the Federal Tax Center, the Connecticut Attorney General’s Office, and Schulte Roth & Zabel (a law firm best known for its hedge fund work). He graduated from HLS in May 2019. Leon is currently preparing for the Massachusetts Bar. After sitting for the Bar, he will be working for the law firm Goodwin and Proctor LLP. At Goodwin, he will be starting in the tax group. In his free time, Leon enjoys spending time outdoors, landscape photography, and rowing.
