Romanna (Roma) Romaniv is graduating with a Bachelor of Science Honors degree in Finance and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Rights. Throughout her time at UConn, Roma has grown to be a very engaged member of the UConn Community. Both at the UConn School of Business and in the larger UConn sphere, Roma has taken on various leading roles.
During her sophomore year, Roma served as Vice President of the Student Body in the Undergraduate Student Government. As Vice President, Roma managed a student body senate of over 60 representatives and acted as a liaison between the students and administration. After her term, Roma joined the newly founded UConn Consulting Group. With a team of talented and driven students, she worked on a project for the UConn Athletics Department and has recently led her own team on a project for a corporate client. Roma has also been a leader in the Ukrainian Student Association, organizing several campus-wide events and serving as President of the organization.
In her senior year, Roma served as a manager with the Student Managed Fund and oversaw a fund of over $2 million. Throughout her experience with the fund, Roma has had the opportunity to value and analyze multiple companies and to pitch three successful investments to the team.
Roma also had the chance to study abroad: as part of the U21 Social Entrepreneurship program in Guatemala and again with UConn in the London Program.
After graduation, Roma will begin work as an equity capital markets analyst at Citigroup in New York City.
