Colin A. Mansfield ’09 was featured in an article from the CT Post regarding gaming in Connecticut, more specifically the prospects for a third casino in Hartford. Mr. Mansfield provided valuable insight into the pros and cons of the proposal from a financial standpoint. The article mentions that Mohegan Sun and Foxwoods have warned that the opening of the MGM Casino in Springfield, MA could bring significant losses in revenue and jobs. To read more, click here. Matthew DiGeronimo ’06 EMBA has co-authored a book titled “Extreme Operational Excellence: Applying the US Nuclear Submarine Culture to Your Organization” The book shares the details of the unique, secretive, and successful culture of the US Navy’s Nuclear Submarine community. The emphasis of the book is how an organization can apply these principles to improve the performance of an organization and the effectiveness of its leaders. Matt Fleury ’07 EMBA has been named the new chairman of the Board of Regents for Higher Education. Mr. Fleury is currently the president and CEO of the Connecticut Science Center.  He also serves as a board and executive committee member of the international Association of Science and Technology Centers and as a board member of the MetroHartford Alliance.

Matthew A. Feid ’02, ’05 MA

Matthew A. Feid ’02, ’05 MA has been promoted to director of patient accounts at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro, Massachusetts.  Mr. Feid began as a financial analyst in the fiscal services department in 2006 and was later promoted to senior financial analyst in 2013.  He manages 45 employees spanning two departments and oversees an accounts receivable balance of $36 million.

Mr. Gonski has more than 13 years of experience in banking leadership and is currently the Market Manager, Vice President of Sales for People United Bank in Brookfield, Connecticut. He is currently a volunteer with the Boy Scouts of America and American Red Cross and previously served on the Board of Directors for the Better Business Bureau of Connecticut, United Way of Southington, and Southington Chamber of Commerce.
