Gregory J. Trudel ’83 has been appointed to president and CEO of Encision Inc., a medical device company owning patented surgical technology that prevents stray electrosurgical burns in minimally invasive surgery. Mr. Trudel brings a legacy of success in the surgical devices market. Most recently he was most recently the global director of marketing within a division within the Surgical Solutions Group at Covidien.

Mr. Trutter is currently UConn Health Center’s associate vice president of campus planning, design, and construction.
