John M. Gonski ’09 MBA has been elected to the Housatonic Habitat for Humanity Board of Directors. Mr. Gonski has more than 13 years of experience in banking leadership and is currently the Market Manager, Vice President of Sales for People United Bank in Brookfield, Connecticut. He is currently a volunteer with the Boy Scouts of America and American Red Cross and previously served on the Board of Directors for the Better Business Bureau of Connecticut, United Way of Southington, and Southington Chamber of Commerce.

Minal Patel Davis ’01 MBA, ’01 JD has been named by Houston’s Mayor Parker, the first special advisor to the mayor on human trafficking.  Mrs. Davis will coordinate with city, county, state and federal law enforcement to pursue and maintain relationships with all levels of government to best coordinate efforts and messaging around the issue of human trafficking.


Michael T. Maynard ’07 PhD

Michael T. Maynard ’07 PhD has been awarded a Fullbright Scholar Award from the J. Wlliam Fullbright Foreign Scholarship Board.  Dr. Maynard is currently on a three-month assignment in Portugal and will be working to help colleagues design research projects involving healthcare teams, teamwork training projects and potentially a project involving the referee tams from Portugal’s professional soccer league
