Neil A. Horn ’97 has joined the firm of Hycroft, LLC and will be involved in originating, managing and distributing the firm’s fund raising mandates. Mr. Horn brings over 17 years of investment banking and private capital raising experience.
Ernest A. DiMattia, Jr. ’81 MBA
Ernest A. DiMattia, Jr. ’81 MBA a longtime ALA member, has been honored by The American Library Association (ALA) by the creation of the Ernest A. DiMattia, Jr. Award for Innovation and Service to Community and Profession. The late Mr. DiMattia, Jr. dedicated his career to providing extraordinary library service to the Stamford community and was president of the Ferguson Library from 1976 – 2014.

David A. Samuels ’83 has been appointed to the Board of Directors of Junior Achievement of Greater Washington and was elected vice chair, development, for the Charles E. Smith Life Communities. Mr. Samuels is the chief financial officer for Healthcare IT Leader, DrFirst, Inc.

Pat Nelligan CWO-5 USA and EBV ’11 has been appointed to the Board of Trustees of the CT Department of Veterans Affairs. This appointment is an important step for both UConn veterans, and for EBV to have representation in the decision making at the CT Department of Veterans Affairs.
