Lauralee E. Martin ’79 MBA has been elected to president and chief executive officer at HCP. Prior to her appointment to president and chief executive officer, Ms. Martin served on HCP’s Board of Directors and was a chief executive at Jones Lang LaSalle, Inc.

Stuart A. King ’87 MBA has been appointed to vice president of northeast energy consulting at Amerex Energy Services, a division of Amerex Brokers LLC. Mr. King joins Amerex with over 30 years of energy industry experience, most recently serving as the director of northeast sales for NextEra Energy Services.

Luke J. Florian ’08 is the co-founder of the national real estate investment firm, Elite Property LLC. Mr. Florian’s company has recently expanded into South Florida with 2011-2013 business growth in excess of 500%.
Scott S. Cowen, PhD ’68, ’10
Scott S. Cowen, PhD ’68, ’10 has been recognized at the 2013 Edith Stern Legacy Award Luncheon for his commitment to education, community service and civic engagement. The award is given each year to an individual who demonstrates exceptional commitment to civic virtues and cultural values. Dr. Scott Cowen is currently the president of Tulane University.
Tim G. Cocchi ’89 MBA
Tim G. Cocchi ’89 MBA has been named country manager for Hong Kong operations at Aetna. Mr. Cocchi has over 30 years of experience with employee benefits and insurance industries and has worked both in the United States and internationally.
Michael Sheahan Jr. ’82
Michael Sheahan Jr. ’82 has been appointed to senior vice president and retail lending manager at Chelsea Groton Bank. Sheahan will be responsible for the growth of retail residential lending in Eastern Connecticut and Rhode Island.
Jeffrey Koenig ’84
Jeffrey Koenig ’84 has been appointed to chief financial officer at Safe-Guard Products International. Prior to his appointment at Safe-Guard, Koeing served as chief operating officer and chief financial officer of Beazley’s U.S. Operations.
Christopher T. Fraser ’80
Christopher T. Fraser ’80 has been appointed to president and chief executive officer of KMG Chemicals. Fraser has been a board member since 2008 and has been KMG Chemicals’ interim chief executive officer since late June.
Mark L. Boxer ’87 MBA
Mark L. Boxer ’87 MBA has joined the Board of Directors at the Grange Insurance Board. Boxer is currently the executive vice president and global chief information officer for Cigna.
Gerald D. Starsia ’95 EMBA
Gerald D. Starsia ’95 EMBA has been appointed to senior associate dean and chief operating officer at the University of Virginia Darden School of Business. Mr. Starsia has worked at the University of Virginia since 2001 and recently was the senior associate dean of administration.
