Peter E. Bihuniak ’07, ’10 MSA has been promoted to the position of manager at MahoneySabol. Mr. Bihuniak who has more than seven years of audit and consulting experience, is highly experienced at conducting audits of large not-for-profit, governmental, and quasi-governmental organizations. His expertise is primarily with federal and state single audits and handling complex accounting and audit issues.
John A. Baliotti IIhas been appointed as director by Exone.Mr. Balliotti most recently served as a senior equity analyst with Jannery Montgomery Scott. Mr. Baliotti started his career as a design and analytical engineer with Sikorsky Aircraft.
Zachary R. Luce ’03, ’03 MSAhas been promoted to chief financial officer at Ironwood Capital. Mr. Luce will be responsible for financial management and controls, external financial and regulatory reporting along with limited partner reporting while supporting overall portfolio management. Prior to joining Ironwood Capital in 2010, Mr. Luce worked as an auditor in public accounting at McGladrey and CCR LLP.
Frank C. Wuest ’82 has joined Marcus Partners as a principal with a focus on acquisitions and redevelopment. Mr. Wuest’s knowledge of many different product types and his skill set in acquisitions, development, redevelopment and management, will further enhance Marcus Partners ability to deliver strong returns and create value for their investors.
Roger Samuel ’83 MBA has been promoted to executive vice president and practice leader by his employer, MSA Executive Search. Mr. Samuel joined MSA Executive Search in 2006 as vice president and brings more than 35 years of organizational leadership and management development experience along with an extensive background in healthcare governance to his new role.
Robert D. O’Boyle ’89 has been appointed by the board of the Liquid Holdings Corporation to the position of president. Mr. O’Boyle had been already serving as executive vice president of sales and marketing of the company. In his new role, Mr. O’Boyle will continue to oversee sales and marketing along with being responsible for managing both client services and product strategy moving forward in his newly appointed position.
Ms. Maryne Robin ’96 MBA has been named by the Connecticut Technology Council as a recipient of their 2015 Women of Innovation award. Ms. Robin is the owner of Nantes Solutions which was founded in 1999.
Katherine H. Emery ’81 has been named by the Connecticut Technology Council as a recipient of their 2015 Women of Innovation award. Ms. Emery is the founder and CEO of Walker Systems Support in Farmington.
Angela Paydos ’01 MS has been promoted to manager at Guilmartin, DiPiro & Sokolowski, LLC. Ms. Paydos has demonstrated exceptional leadership and management skills in her long-term employment with GDS. Her steadfast commitment to the firm has helped her reach a new milestone in her career. She has been a CPA for 11 years.
Quinten J. Smallwood ’08has been elected by Leadership Greater Hartford to their Executive Committee. Mr. Smallwood has been serving as a board member since 2012 and was appointed treasurer in December 2014.
