Andrew L. Glassman ’90 has been appointed Vice President of Strategy with CSX Corporation. Mr. Glassman brings 25 years of experience in corporate finance to his new role. He will be overseeing company-wide initiatives that position CSX for success.
Richard M. Famiglietti ’81 MBA has been ranked as a top performer as a Naugatuck Valley financial director. His performance is ranked in the top quartile of BSS News Bites’ NASDAQ for the past year. He is the owner of CM Property Management. Mr. Famiglietti’s experience as a owner of a property management company provides the board with critical experience in real estate matters as well as experience as a small business owner.
Gang Wang PhD ’15 has successfully defended his dissertation titled “Essays on Business Models and Empirical Analysis of the Online Daily Deal Industry.”
David A. Samuels ’83 has been appointed to the Board of Directors of Junior Achievement of Greater Washington and was elected vice chair, development, for the Charles E. Smith Life Communities. Mr. Samuels is the chief financial officer for Healthcare IT Leader, DrFirst, Inc.
Pat Nelligan CWO-5 USA and EBV ’11 has been appointed to the Board of Trustees of the CT Department of Veterans Affairs. This appointment is an important step for both UConn veterans, and for EBV to have representation in the decision making at the CT Department of Veterans Affairs.
Deborah M. Murphy ’84 has been appointed corporate vice president and chief marketing officer at Huron Consulting Group. Ms. Murphy will be charged with leading the firm’s global brand development and marketing strategy.
